I don't know that I would do Lin for Hardaway for Shumpert because RIGHT now Lin is better than both of them.

What makes this interesting though, is that the Rockets can use the Knicks in a THREE WAY deal with Shumpert and Hardaway going to another team.

The Rockets will make a move if they can... everyone not named Harden and Howard will be considered (Parsons for a real star) and Lin and Asik are very much in play but they won't be given away.

I would love to get my hands on Minka Kelly, doesn't mean it will happen.

Amazing how Rox fans underrate Lin and overrate players on other teams. Combine Shump and Hardwary points/game average and it's a bit over Lin's points/game. Combine their assist/game, and Lin blows them away.

Amazing that even scoring 16pts and 5 assists against the Wizard, ESPN is saying that Lin had a terrible game.

Put Hardaway Jnr as 6th man on the Rockets, and he would produce more than Lin currently is.

    Shumpert >>> Garcia.

If I was the Knicks I'd say 'heck no' to trading both those guys for Lin, but the Knicks have done stranger things...

I would do Lin and asik for melo and Tyson chandler. Think about it, melo is leaving ny so why not get linsanity back?

Hardaway Jr. would be a nice addition. He's a long, athletic wing that can hit the 3-ball (38.5%).

Wait so we're not going to have to attach three first rounders and Morey's newborn to get rid of Lin's heinous contract?

Near as I can tell, we don't have enough roster spots to make a deal out of their expirings, even if we cut Ronnie Brewer before a trade.

I watch a lot of NYK games, and this team is terrible.

The season is basically a loss, even though they are only 2.5 out of the 8th spot...no chance in the East.

But, maybe Lin could spark a bit of excitement here. :p

I think it is the other way around.

New York's cap hit would be 15 MILLION for Jeremy Lin next season (though it would be about 5 million this year). For them, that should only matter for luxury tax purposes.

I don't think New York would be desperate enough to give something of value for him, but you never know.

Someone please correct this - I'm pretty sure their cap hit will be 8.2mil just like any other team.

For a team with no direction, getting back their cash cow is all Dolan want so that there's butts in overpriced seats.
