I know this is really early because you can't tell how players pan out but here are the draft grades:

Ha, so short sided teams who had NO picks automatically get a B+ but the Rockets who get a guy "that can contribute right away" and a stash player with high upside get a C?

The grades on the teams with "none" come from who the picks were traded for.

Washington (the team I assume you're talking about) got a B+ even though they didn't have any picks because they used the first round pick in trading for Gortat, who is really underrated.

I didn't realize Philly had so many picks in this draft. 7 guys? I've never seen anything like that. But, I suppose this was the draft to do it in.

Let's see, we add 3 players and get a C- ; Portland adds no one and get a C-?? Draft grades before players play already make no sense. But the logic behind this is the DUMBEST i've ever seen. I hate I wasted 2 minutes of my life reading it.

Draft needs retrospective grading. There is no telling who really "won" on draft day until the season pans out.

Pretty crazy how many teams had zero 1st round picks.

Chad Ford and other media members do this grading stuff because it's content for the website/magazine/TV show and fans want to read them. In reality, who the hell knows how any of this will turn out.

I have to admit, as much as I enjoy watching Hinkie rebuild, if I were a Sixers fan I would be disappointed. I remember the one mock draft before Embiid broke his foot, they had slated the Sixers to pick Wiggins and Randle with their two lottery picks.

Nerlens Noel, Julius Randle, Andrew Wiggins and MCW? And then they would still have loads of cap room to bring in quality free agents? Sign me up for that, please.

    This? Not so much.

If Chad Ford thinks Mitch McGary is the same player as Steven Adams, he's clueless. Probably because he knows nothing about McGary.

I love how we got a C- while Golden state got a B. They didn't even have draft picks!!!

He gives them a B because they got. Iggy last summer but they didn't even get better with him!!

This is literally a terrible and frustrating read. Very inconsistent grades.

They are the Barney Fife of sports media, even TMZ looks better in comparison.

Grades are a little janky but the descriptions aren't off. Pretty crazy how many pieces the 76ers got, they are like the Astros of the NBA with crazy young-asset building.

    Utah did extremely well.

Now that they have Exum they could get good value packaging Burks and Kanter for a center who can actually play alongside Favors. I'm interested in how things shape up for them.

Wow. The Pacers get a C for adding nobody because they blew their draft for the corpse of Scola last year - who was terrible- and the Rockets get a C- for adding 3 players ?
