Thanks hilltopper. We will always appreciate what you post here. Not to turn this into a "what's wrong with the system thread" but the problem is that those outlets that they want fans to get information from don't give us enough of what we want, so we go outside the team sites to fill that need. They should use what is posted elsewhere as free publicity and then give more content than what you can get in network television or other media through the official channels. Just like on Rockets Live last night, we got a bit of Adelman's post game press conference and Brent Barry. I am pretty sure that was it. I know for certain there was no Ron Artest quotes. That is probably due to time constraints but I wouldn't mind seeing more.
Simple. As I said, the professional leagues want you to use their sites as your source of information. They can also have better control of what you do and don't see. I don't agree with that, but it's their product so I can understand the point.
I can understand if there's someone leaking videos that reflect negatively on the league. However, I can't recall one thing you've shown here that isn't a plus to the NBA. It's not like channel 2 is playing "gotcha journalism" or whatever with players in these interviews.
I don't mind the change as long as rockets.com has these videos for us to view whenever we want and their servers can handle the traffic. I know this is strange, but I never watch local TV news shows (sports included) except on very rare occasions. I prefer the internet.
any news about francis? i watched the spurs game, but haven't seen him once this preseason. Any news i missed about not seeing him play?
