A few years ago, I held a poker tournament to which several CFans folks showed up. I am in the planning stages of another tourney and just wanted to gauge the interest from the community... We would hold it in League City, about 1.5 miles off I-45, likely on a Saturday afternoon with a $25 buy-in and 100% payout. At present, we are considering having food and drinks for "sale" (donation requested if you're going to eat/drink) and, based on last time, it is likely that a cash game will commence once enough people bust out of the tournament. FYI, the last tourney saw 24 people show. Anyone interested?
its been a while since i played real poker( I forgot what hand beats what), how was the players attitude last time?
Got a poker shark over here! Wish I was in Houston, would love to join. My buddies and I play every Friday, for some reason I play a lot better when it's a tourney.
Totally down, I am pretty sure I'll see 2-5 people I know who I didnt know were on CF. I live in the area btw.
i beg to differ. people get into tiffs over free tourneys. not to say the cfnet crowd aren't rational people but you'd be surprised how some react to bad beats.
I'm very interested. I assume we'll do some side cash game tables for those eliminated earlier (not that I'm planning on it ). I'm much more of a cash game player.
