Remember that time the Celtics fans said they wouldn't trade Bradley for Harden? They were right.

Dang. That's brutal. Surprised they had to give up a pick to trade Bradley for Marcus Morris.

I might be jumping the gun here but I think he's having to sell some assets at a discount rate because he held on to them for too long.

Everyone knew that the upcoming Bradley/Smart free agencies would force Boston to make a move, yet they never did. Now they're downgrading out of necessity.

Remember when Maury picked Mook Morris over Kawhi. That pick was a game changer

    Bobby Marks:
"The Pistons are now $16.5M below the hard cap with the $8.8M Avery Bradley contract. If a team comes in with an offer sheet greater of $16.5M for restricted free agent Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Detroit would need to shed salary or not match. Avery Bradley is in the last year of his contract and can only be extended for a total of three years (including the current year) with a 5% raise off his 17-18 salary during the next 6 months. Bradley will command top dollar as a free agent in 2018."

That's all they could get? And they gave a pick?

Interesting....so it sounds like this kills the proposed sign and trade option with Utah since they now control their own fate in clearing cap space to sign Hayward to the max. The question from a Rockets fan is does that mean Jae Crowder is now available?

It seems like Crowder and Hayward can't co-exist. Crowder was mad about it last season, he must be doubly pissed now if they are asking him to sit on the bench after they acquired the guy he was mad about last season. Maybe cap wise, Boston is all set but it seems like they risk some locker room problems keeping Crowder there. I would be over the moon if Houston could get Crowder - a clear long term upgrade over Ariza(even if he and Paul are friends)....just wishful thinking but man that would be choice.

It's not that I think Avery Bradley is THAT good, I think he has become overrated a smidge, but I liked the idea of pairing him with Hayward. If I was Boston I would have gotten sneaky and tried to move Horford.

LMAO, Tim, the scrub, Hardaway jr just signed a four year contract for 19M+ per. No way Avery Bradley will settle anything less than a Max contract.

This is new NBA. Role players getting max money is the new norm.
