Tradin Clint just makes too much sense and the likeliest trade partner is still BOS who coveted Capela and still need a defensive minded starting 5, with Kanter coming off bench.

But think it will take at least 3 teams to make it work.

 

You need a good rim-running center to go along with Harden and Westbroook. You can move Capela, but you have to replace those minutes with someone with a similar skill-set, who do you have in mind? legit question, no sarcasm

 

You are right. Trade with BOS requires Robert Williams (6'10 with 7'6 wingspan) as part of return package.

BOS gets: Capela, Clark, Hartenstein

ORL gets: Smart, Langford, McLemore, Hou FRP

HOU gets: AGordon, Robert Williams, Wes Iwundu

Then either re-sign Faried or smaller trade to aquire Nerlens Noel. Noel or Faried starts until Williams ready.

ORL and AG is my preferred trade but 3 team trade also works with MIN sending Covington and Bates-Diop to HOU with Wiggins going to BOS for Hayward and Langford.

But I understand how limited your grasp is so I try not to overload you with too many options.

The idea would probably be to acquire a lesser-paid center who brings much the same talent as Clint (to add to that elusive big wing or true 4).

I actually do miss holic, I was entertained by most of his posting. I thought he was an important clutchfans character. Thankfully he added me on twitter so I can get my fill of holic takes, but it's not quite the same since nobody ever responds or interacts with him on twitter. He's basically screaming into the void over there.
