So I'm having an issue where people are having problems hearing me (telling me it sounds very soft or like garble) but I have no issues hearing others. As far as I know, this only happens in my apartment, where I get full bars. I'm on Sprint and use an HTC Snap. Could it be some interference (router, etc.)? I'm questioning whether it's a signal issue because 1) I get full bars and 2) I can hear others. But then why does it only seem to happen in my apartment, which seems to indicate a signal issue?

Do you have any Sprint phone to test with?

No, don't have another Sprint phone. Could this possibly be a phone issue? I've tried fooling with the roaming settings (Automatic, or Sprint Only) and doesn't seem to make a difference.

Roaming settings won't help. Since you said it only happens at your apartment, you could call Sprint and see if it's perhaps a network issue?

Try rebooting the phone or turning it off and taking the battery out. Put the battery back in and see if it fixes the problem.

Is there something covering the microphone on your phone?

do you work in help desk? I like the canned response. I am messing with you since these types of things can actually fix it .. it's just funny.. along the lines of 'is your computer plugged in?' ..'is the power on?'

Haha. Yeah, the problems at times are easy to fix, but people just don't think about it. And no, I don't work in help desk but I guess you can say I'm a geek when it comes to cell phones. I research a lot and have hacked multiple phones.
