Charley Rosen may have it in for JVG, but he is full of venom for most everybody. As I said another time, sports writers get more response from stinging criticism than from being complimentary. This is Rosen's guide when he writes about the NBA. Any negative thing that can be said he will say. Compliments will be dished out sparingly. Real basketball people know the Rockets are much better than last year. He has no clue about what's happened during anyone's preseason (including ours). I'll bet he doesn't even watch tapes of games. Don't take this guy seriously. He's over the hill and will write whatever it takes to prolong his career. His goal with this junk is to become news.

One example: He says the top need of the Hornets was a PG. They drafted Chris Paul. There are several more examples but I won't waste my time.

Rosen must be a Canadian that spent the summer in Houston, he hates Houston. He didn't include Head and I wonder if this was written before our preseason games because I am impressed with this team even if Rosen isn't.

this guy repeatedly has horrible analysis. i seriously do not understand why fox would let a guy who is this horrible at analyzing stuff and isn't even compelling to read continue to write for them.

 

What perplexs me is that with all those low grades, he gives Danny Ainge a B+ for doing nothing.

it's clear this guy is a dumb f@#king tool so we shouldn't really care what he thinks about the rockets. however is it too much to be consistent? he bashes the miami pickups almost exactly the same as the rockets yet give them a b - in the end.
