    I don't know if I would do this, with the addition of Patrick Patterson and the development of Jordan Hill this does make some sense.

    But still not sure if I would do this....

    If we replace Scola with a 20/10 guy like Jefferson yes. But if we knew we cannot replace Scola then NO.

    Chandler was great when it was for JJ and DA but Scola is off limits unless its for an ELITE talent.

    I don't know if its that crazy...

    If you think about it, the trade could save us some money while also adding size and athleticism to our starting front court, by plugging Jordan Hill into the starting line-up.

    Plus an argument could be maid that Jordan Hill's quick leaping ability and mid-range jumpshot and overall athleticism is a better compliment to Yao than Luis Scola.

    But with that said "If" we ever did this, I would try to squeeze out a young player out of Charlotte like D.J. Augustin... in order to try and get equal value in return for Luis Scola(who IMO is a borderline All-Star)...

    Tyrus Thomas got 5 yrs - 40 million from the Bobcats so there out of it BUT what does that tell you about Scola and what the Nets might offer him!!!

    Get ready for a nice 5 yr - 50 million dollar contract to be offered.

    Hope you guys are good with Scola for about $10 Mil per year. Anything less than that and I'd be surprised.
