If we get a third star, say goodbye to them.

But I don't think a team will want to pay Asik and Lin 30 M combined in their third years...

I'm thinking Iggy or Josh Smith here.

    Deeks appears vindicated.

No creditability. Why are you quoting random people. It's obvious he's a Rockets fan, so of course he is bias.

Not so sure why people are so high on Rondo.

If we are getting CP3 then it is okay to celebrate.

If people hate Lin bricking 3s, you would freak out at Rondo horrible 3s and FT percentage.

    Easy.

Invite Jet Chang for the Taiwan games, just like Liu Wei was invited to the Kings game.

Well, Lin was acquired before the Rockets knew they'd get Harden - much less Howard. They may believe he is a less than ideal fit to play beside those guys. He certainly wasn't the perfect fit next to Harden this past season, though I thought as the year went on he was adapting and fitting that role better and better.

I have to admit, I'll be somewhat disappointed if I don't get to see Lin return to the Rockets this year. With his work ethic, I expected him to come back an expert marksman.

I was also excited about seeing Asik next season.

Of course, if we get Howard and some nice replacement parts for Asik and Lin, that will take some of that sting away.

By the way, it looks like Morey and company don't think Bev is a starting point guard.

He is, and he has said he would like to play with Howard in the past. And Howard has said he would like to play with Iggy.

Asik is probably just out there for attention. I don't see why Daryl would just give away one of the towers.

Also I'd rather take Rondo than CP3 for alot of reasons.

this is true. the usual suspects will turn on him. but rondo would not defer to harden. there is a better chance that rondo will make one of his faces to harden if harden goes 1 on 5 when he's turned over 8 times and isn't getting the calls. In other words, with rondo, rondo will demand the ball and keep the ball moving. no sticky icky-ness. only thing that concerns me is rondo's timeline to health? Lee can replace delfine-ohs threes and play tenacious d.

Rondo is like Lin on steroids. Better penetrator, better passer, better playmaker, better defender. The shot is something we live with already. I'd gladly give up Asik and Lin for a true star of Rondo's caliber.
