[CBS Sports] Rockets make Asik, Lin available in trade talks

Houston is confident entering the meeting with Dwight Howard tonight. They think they'll land him. One source described Rockets as "cocky."

Am I the only one who is confident in Pat starting if we deal Lin?

 

Other teams have been spreading this ****, that's why Morey's hand was forced so early on Robinson.

Maybe the Lakers/Mavs were to make it seem like we couldn't make space without ditching key rotation players, or maybe the team (Blazers) trying to force Morey's hand, it has bs written all over it.

 

Anything to wipe that ridiculous smile off Cuban's face.

 

Also if the Lakers take Asik, Lin and a PF from us for Howard, I think we would have enough to offer Paul the MAX.

Please guys, stop quoting Alex Kennedy. That guy isn't an insider of any sort. His sources, like i've said previously, simply come from other legit sources such as Woj, Stein, Berger, etc.

We already know the Rockets like their chances entering the meeting with Howard tonight.

This article sort of contradicts what Mark Deeks said, "Rival teams say the Rockets are making Lin available, as well, though they'd have to get a starting point guard in return." I don't think as many people were disagreeing with Meeks that Lin was being shopped as much as they were disagreeing with his stating his own opinion as fact that Beverly was better than Lin, and that the Rockets were at least partly shopping Lin because Beverley was better than Lin.

 

i said I wouldn't post til we landed dwight. it's basically a done deal now.
If we can haul asik and lin for rondo and lee,with mchale connections to ainge it could happen, then that is a high way robbery. I think Lin will be a damn good pg but rondo can be in the hall of fame. Just for the last time, don't camp him out at the 3 point line watching.

Not a big fan of Rondo, both on and off the court.

Rather go after Josh Smith (S&T for Asik) and try and trade Lin in a separate deal.
