Awesome stuff by Barkley: first he said it was non intentional, now he said 10 games and went like "you can't be punching people in the head" hahaha

JR's elbow shot was basically a sucker punch. That's got to be a heavy suspension.

Weird how with many rules in the NBA, there's no clear rules for repeat offenders and cheap shots. Regardless of how injured Crowder is and the NBA so image conscious, this should be like Suarez in football: no more JR in the play-offs. The way he stood over Crowder like he was a tough guy and his former punches and dumb thug moves, should make this automatic 10 and then some.

I kind of like his some of his behind the refs' backs antics from those days. Both refs are turned away? Bam, a sucker punch in the face. Then he just walks away like nothing happened.

Look at it again. That was a fist, like a roundhouse, hay-maker in reverse.

    Pretty damn epic backhand.

The real message that was sent is, J.R. Smith does indeed keep his pimp hand strong. Hoes beware.

Man, if JR isn't suspended for at least 5 games for that ... wow. He connected hard with that fist. Crowder looked knocked-the-hell-out. I think MWP was suspended something like seven games for his elbow to Harden's head.

If the NBA really want to punish the Cavs, they should suspend JR and require Perk to play 35 minutes + a game for the next 7.

I think you gotta suspend JR at least 5 games for that. NBA can't have players throwing haymakers during play to someone who doesn't suspect it.

It's worse than if they both had started to square off and then a punch was thrown. It's worse that he and Perkins deny intention and are trying to play it off like it was part of them just playing.

Should suspend that idiot for the rest of the playoffs, minimum.

He knocked the guy out, he could have seriously hurt himself on the fall, maybe he has. Absolutely disgusting.

The fact that he wasn't facing him is not an excuse. Get this trash out of the league.

Yeah, should be suspended for a good number of games. That backhand had tons of force behind it. Even knock Jae out for a good second for him to lose control of his legs.
