Who even wants Love at this point? Dude has not stepped up and always gets injured. You trade for him and its almost a guarantee he's gonna be injured again next year.
I just think Kevin Love is the most hyped NBA Player of this last decade. I would take D-Mos small salary over Kevin Loves max contract any-day. U can give me like 20 PFs I would rather have before Kevin Love.
Totally agree. If Cavs fall in 5 or less, they have to make bigger changes and it would seem Kevin Love is the one to deal. They can't stick with that same core, even if it did go to the Finals two straight seasons. East, at the top, is still weak. It's how they measure up against West's best that should be their measuring stick.
Cavs did fire Blatt in January and Lue doesn't seem to know what he is doing. Everyone has their own opinions
Personally i think Love fits more than Irving (who is an heavy iso player) with Lebron, he's just really bad on defense (like Irving btw) and doesn't have the fire. In the end Love is the one who's going to get traded mainly cause Irving is their n.1 pick and fans are more attached to him.
Not really...Love fits with Harden like he fits with Lebron, if you think he can't play with Lebron you should think he can't play with Harden too. On the other hand Dwight doesn't fit with Lebron like he doesn't fit with Harden, if he doesn't want to play pick & roll, he just clogs the paint which is bad for Harden and for Lebron. Also Lebron doesn't like Dwight, and i'm not sure what is the point for the Cavs to have him since he's basically a taller Thompson with more years and injuries on his shoulders, and worse shooter overall.
because the clips think of themselves as contenders and their core is so used to each other, they probably wouldn't do that trade. but in a vacuum, paul is better but kyrie is much younger than paul. paul is near the end of his prime, irving is square in the middle of his and is a better pure scorer if you are looking for that. they both have injury concerns. if the clips are looking at their window closing and thinking of starting over, they'd be hard-pressed to get more for paul than irving. cleveland would love it because paul is better and his prime aligns with lebron.
One HUGE problem with that. One can play defense but for some reason doesnt. The other is swiss cheese defensively.
trading love is interesting. you basically are trading him because he doesn't work against the warriors and hoping to find the SF/PF that is the key to beating the warriors. but any one who has that SF/PF isn't going to trade them. someone like an ariza (plus obviously more added on) is actually interesting. the cavs could try to acquire size like the thunder but kanter was basically useless against the warriors and even adams wasn't part of okc's best lineup (durant/ibaka at 4/5). if they go small with some 3&D guys who basically replace love's 3 point shooting but then add defense, is lebron/thompson enough of a frontline? would obviously be a huge problem if you didn't face the warriors, but given that the east doesn't currently have a frontline that would punish lebron/thompson and given that the warriors are very likely to be your finals opponent, you have to build for them. the thunder didn't beat gsw by going big, they beat them by having lots of versatile defenders and then putting the offense together as well as possible. if cleveland's whole lineup outside of irving could defend at a high level and everyone but thompson (and lebron) could shoot, that should compete better against the warriors than the current team.
Love sucks Love is SAWFT I want no part of Love munching up Salary Cap DMo is a better bargain Rocket River
Not true Lebron and harden are totally different players offensively. Lebron does not have hardens handles or isn't a threat form beyond the arc like harden. Basically what I'm saying is love fits with harden better than he does with Lebron the dynamic of harden and love is different than Lebron and love. And also Thompson is not near the defensive presence Dwight could be.
