Was anybody watching the half-time show of the Nets/Celtics game, he said that Cleveland could be fined heavily but I missed what they could be fined for. It sounded somewhat serious, or at least a big deal.
I don't know why the Cavs are getting fined, but could it be because they worked out LeBron James. Technically it was a practice game with Cavs players and coaches. Let the tanking begin.
Kobe Bryant played against the Sixers when he was still in high school (and tore them a new one I might add). I don't recall any problems with that.
During the half time show of game four of the Lakers/Kings series, the commentators said Andre Miller was available for trade. They claimed Cleveland was going for the lottery pick next year (James) but mainly the scuttlebutt they didn't want to overpay for Miller's extension. Too bad they don't have anybody else we want.
Yep they are being investigated for working out James. No decisions have been made as to if or what a penalty would be. http://espn.go.com/nba/news/2002/0528/1387868.html
$150K, and a 2 game suspension for Lucas at the start of next year. They violated the rules, and now have to pay for it. I think they gave Lucas the suspension because this is the second time he's done this. If you guys remember he was coach of the Sixers when they worked Kobe out before he was eligable. By the way, they reported that LaBron was taking it to the Cavs, and had several "Amazing" Dunks including a few on Lamond Murry. They say that he made Murry look real bad.
Yup, all signs point towards the Cavs tanking. They are going to let their best player go who deserves the max, just to have a chance to get LeBron James. They are crazy.
They're only crazy if they don't end up with the #1 pick. If they do end up with the #1 pick, and are able to draft LaBron then they are freakin genious'.
