Good points. I'd have to go back to look at each past ball but my cursory take would be getting signs mixed up. Something that's plagued Castro in the past and wanes as familiarity with pitching staff increases.
It should also be noted that you won't see much difference in game-calling, with most of the calls being delivered from the bench (especially when runners are on base).
