I remember when the Nets played us last year VC did not even try at all when we blew them out. It was a disgrace to basketball.

My guess is in the last year of VC's contract he will have as much basketball value as TMAC does. (or less)

Its only one year longer than T-Mac. And if we trade Ron and not T-Mac, Mac's contract comes off the books the year before.

 

Carter dogs it too much in my opinion. He also is McGrady-like in that if the game becomes a blowout, he will quit playing hard.

If Carter is coming to houston, this is how it interprets. If mcgrady needs microfracture , he's done till this time next year which means he's done in houston so he can be a injury type of deal like terrell brandon type of deal. Anyway,he's a expiring contract. Like I've brought up in my rebuild plan, if a team like the bulls are struggling and want to clear space for 2010, then the rockets can offer mcgrady for Deng. Deng makes 9m but since they are under the cap, they can absorb the 12m more than what they're giving out. Now the bulls might insist on taking hinrich to really get money off the books. So here is the scenerio, the rox are pushing for this year plus 2. Here is the tea now.

Rafer can be moved for a te, shane is on the bench with wafer,landry,and brooks. That might be enough for yao not to opt out and deng and hinrich are good young players. If they get Carter, that what we're looking at.

 

If the Rockets traded McGrady for Carter. Yao, Carter, and Battier the only guaranteed contracts for 2010 would leave them around $15 million under this year's salary cap.

I'm just saying how valuable mcgrady contract is next year. The iverson/chauncey deal is a example.

 

not that scary , 4 years, this is year one, rockets have him for year 2, 3, by year 4 he's a valuable expiring contract, i think he's got at least 2 more years in him.

 

that might be his rep, but he's in NJ playing with devin harris and a buncha nbdl talent and he's busting it every night.
