I mean, look how far bynum has come. he would be alot further ahead if he hadnt gotten hurt. I'm not comparing him to Bynum, I'm just saying that if you get Jordan half way up the ladder, he will still be better than dorsey half way up the ladder. Plus, Dorsey is almost 26 vs 20. Thats huge in the nba or any sports. Maybe Dorsey and Jordan turn out to be scrubs, who know, but i'd take my chances on the youngster vs the older guy. Kinda sounds like Lewis vs Turscan right?

I was stunned he was even drafted in the first place, let alone at the top of the second round. Seeing a 25-year-old NBA 'rookie' just now learning a basic jump hook is very unsettling. I guess the silver lining is he seems willing to work hard, has a positive attitude and is working with a great teacher in CD -- all the same, I'd be surprised if he's still with the team by age 27. As long as Chuck is here these two are way too redundant.

CD should be trying to help him develop a respectable 10-15 footer. At least that with that his opponent's won't play 3-4 feet off of him. Making your opponent respect your range at least gives you the opportunity to put the ball on the floor or make a post/spin move.

    Awesome Clutch,
Maybe he can develop a "Carl Herrera" like hook shot!

After watching that video, he has a very very long ways to go.

His skills are not even at a collegiate level dude.

Lol All these comments saying he looked horrible. Well of course he looked horrible all the clips were of his offense which is the worst part of his game. I thought everyone knew this. We got this guy for toughness, defense, and rebounding. As long as he can dunk it and lay it up he will be fine. Hell they were barely letting Scola post up consistently until the last few games.

Yay, Joey D reminds me of a D Howard. So big and fast and explosive. They really need to work on him to make him one of the best.

That was the first comment I read on youtube and all I can do is shake my head in disbelief.

He should never shoot jump hooks, He is athletic enough to dunk anything and everything around the rim..........

That would be a HUGE upgrade to Chucky........

Plus his ability to run the floor.......

I never thought much of CD as a GM, maybe all those stupid trades, contacts, and drafts weren't his calls, BUT, there was never any question about him being a great asst. coach and a specialist at developing bigs. This is great news; if anybody can bring Dorsey around it is CD.

Dorsey is going to take time, but once he learns the ins and outs, he and Yao will be a pretty formidable tandem. I love Scolandry, but neither of them have Dorseys freakish size/athleticism.

Just because y'all guys seen him do the bad hook shot doesn't mean he's a bad player.

I mean would he even go the NBA if he was so bad as you think.
Believe me that organization knows what's doing and knows it better than us.

Dorsey is a long term project but he is a worth giving shot and remember that if he works hard he will be anywhere he wants to, it's all up to him from now on.

Maybe CD can help Artest work on his shot selection?

Man, Dorsey has a longggg way to go. Is it just me, cuz whenever Dorsey does that fake right then go left move he travels. Check out the video at 1:23 and 3:33. His feet move before the ball hits the ground.
