Somebody tell this dude to get over it. It's nice to have a player that works hard and believes in himself, but I swear it's getting painful to listen to his whining : --------------------------------------------------- http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/ssistory.mpl/sports/bk/bkn/1885506
"I feel like I am the Rookie of the Year," said Butler, who finished third. "And I'm going to carry myself as if I won that award." the guy is just plain dumb.
Jebus! How many times has he said that he's ROY. He's just dumb. I think he has stuffed those q-tip's a bit too far in to his big ears.
I can't wait to hear him complaining next year every weekend about how he should've been named player of the week. Or b**** about why they don't show more of his highlights on ESPN. get over yourself.

"If you're not winning, you're not going to be noticed," said Butler, a 6-7 forward who averaged 15.4 points for the 25-57 Heat.

First the facts, Ralph Sampson won how many games in his rookie year? Francis? Brand? Gasol? Iverson? Grant Hill? Coleman? Ewing? check it out...all but Francis won less than 30 games...

"A lot of people's legacies were hurt because they weren't winners.

Second, the laughter. Read that quote twice. What does that mean. Like how Bob McAdoo's legacy was hurt cause he couldn't win anything. Garnett? Barkley? Payton? Or how Magic saved Jabbar's legacy from remembering him not winning for 7 yrs in the prime of his career. Or does it mean that he lost endorsements for not winning the ROY, like Mike Miller is really raking in the dough. Doesn't it make you laugh and visualize Jordan punching the kid for making such a stupid observation.
What a loser. He should be happy that 11 people voted for him to be 1st. He didn't deserve it. He's a loser!!!!!!!!! He's the first option on a crappy team. Amare was the third option.....Yao was sometimes the 1st option...and sometimes the 12th option...sometimes the 4th.......Caron gets to shoot the ball as much as he wants. Man...he's sad.
Between this guy's whining and the Sun's man-child's classless comments about Yao during the season, we really have to be grateful that we have a true hero in YM that we wouldn't mind our kids looking up to.
Caron was having a really good streak going for him but i think since the Suns made the playoffs that sort of capped it for Amare.
Man, this guy is the ultimate TIGJAM. It was Phil NoMajorson's nickname on the PGA tour, but I hereby award it to Caron. TIGJAM: Think I'm Good, Just Ask Me!
Thank god Yao's inner strength/hero-quality cannot be taken away by some media voters! Compared to that, ROY all seems meaningless. Think of it as the MVP trophy D Robinson got when Dream lead Rockets to championship.
Someone needs to tell Butler that if Yao was on the Heat, Yao would be averaging 18ppg/10rpg. That's why Butlers numbers are so inflated. He gets the ball all the time.
