Eh, I think it's ok when a guy gives you 62 points on 65% shooting, you know.

How are Harden or KD more versatile than Melo? They don't have a post game at all.

well said. KD is simply more unguardable due to his sheer length. he doesn't need all those fancy moves to create for himself. melo is, on the other hand, like kobe, probably more skilled at creating his own shots but just can't seem to make it at the same %.

Might give them a 2nd rounder for him, if I'm on a good day.

Hate comments like this. You act like guys are dropping 60 nightly against bad teams

I Dont care what you hate, Melo is one of the most inefficient players in todays game.I could care less if he droped 60 on the Bobcats

Who was the last person to score 60 befor him? I heard it was Kobe in 2009 but there HAD to be somebody within those FIVE YEARS to score 60??

Watch some Knicks tape and you would see why it may seems like he is inefficient. Carmelo is constantly put in a bad situation with the shot clock winding down because his teammates suck. Take Melo out of the Knicks and you would see a team that would get destroyed by the RGV Vipers. You just look at stats alone and go by what ESPN "experts" say. Put Melo on a contender and you would see more of a 2012 Olympics Melo rather then the Knicks Melo.

He played vs MKG most of the game, who played great D on him if you rewatch the tape. Melo is unstoppable on given nights, no matter who he plays against. And he had enough big scoring games, doesn't need to prove anything in that regard.

Kinda sad a visiting player held the scoring record at MSG so long. MJ only had 4 chances a year to set the record (okay, plus playoffs). How many games did Melo play there before finally breaking it?

I think Bernard King had the actual record of 60 before Kobe broke it for 61. Everyone just likes to talk about MJ's double nickel for whatever reason. So the record was only held by away player 08-14. I'm sure there are other arena's with the same issue.

There are quite a few arena's that have records held by players from other teams.
