Denver management, apparently. I was surprised how much of a non-disaster it was though. I really, really, really hope this is sarcasm.
Man, this Melo buzz is causing a serious rift in the Clutch BBS. I'd hate to see what would happen if he was actually on the Rockets roster. I could seriously see DD pontificating from his "I told you so" tower.
What direction would you rather see the team go? Do you think we can compete for a championship with what we've got?
Im all for Carmelo as long as we dont give to much talent for him, we need a super star wing with a big ego to go against the gratest players in the play offs and the finals.
I would be sad while doing it...though... I am quite confident that Melo will not lead the Rockets where people want him to.... DD
Can someone PLEASE edit the thread title since this is obviously BS? The discussion is interesting, but it's a misleading title. We have the same problem on Nugs boards. There are "Melo Only Fans". And I know you guys know what it's like to have people who are fans of only one player instead of the team.
Do you understand what a "flop" means buddy? It's when a player falls down on purpose and acts like he got fouled.
A second tier player? Carmelo Anthony? Are you kidding me? I'll give you below average D and average rebounding, but he can score from ANYWHERE on the floor at ANYTIME. And I do agree that scoring isn't everything, but we are an automatic 50+ win team if Melo comes (provided we don't see the entire farm) and will be in a much better position to get CP3 next year. If you want a team of nice guys go to church. The team we have now is too soft, and Carmelo will bring some edginess. Come on 4 out of our current 5 starters are soft basketball players and the toughest of the bunch may not be 6 feet in platform shoes. Melo = CP3 = Championship
Of course I do. it's just that I haven't seen him executed a flop. I'm no ta Laker fan so I don't watch all his games. But I havne't seen him pulled one. I saw him flapped Scola in the face though.
