the grizzlies would never trade Gay for Melo. People who don't even watch Rudy play basketball, but are quick to criticize him.

Last night was a perfect example of why Gay is important to the grizzlies. The grizzlies had about 5 chances to put the game away against the lakers and faltered because OJ is a chucker, Conley isn't used to taking the game on his shoulders and neither is Gasol.

Without Gay, the grizzlies wouldn't be 4th in the west, period. But Gay will never get his due.

Kevin Durant is better than Rudy Gay.

The Post actually used to be a very credible source in the 80's. Don't know what happened there.

Why not just trade Melo or Lin and pieces for D. Williams then offer Stoudemire or Melo (if he's around still) for Howard? Its obvious nobody wants to play with Melo.

because it would make too much sense for the Knicks. Therefore, it won't happen.

    You can end this thread.

Melo drove a coach to quit so he could take over. He isn't going anywhere since it's his team now.

Don't be too sure of that. Most reports have been saying that the Knicks brass is just as sour on Anthony. A big part of D'Antoni's ouster was that he didn't/couldn't/wouldn't get Anthony in line.

What Knicks brass? Dolan drove the deal to get Melo and he pushed out Walsh in the process. Dolan sides with Melo because he was his dream player. Melo is a cancer and eating away at the Knicks with no one to stop him. Remember Isiah Thomas? Melo is just as much of the problem as he was.

The whole "Carmelo vs Lebron" thing coming into the league inflated Carmelo's entitlement complex out of control trying to keep up with King James.

Entitlment WAY past his actual abilities.
