If Carmelo Anthony joined the Rockets this month, he would be gone by June. I just can't see gutting the team for a seventh or eighth seed and maybe a second round series. Moneyball just isn't designed for holding top players.

He said "anyone would like to play for that team," which is true because the energy and effort the Rockets showed today is infectious. However, that in no way means "he wants to come here", it sounds more like "he had to spend some time here for a spell of say a few months, he would enjoy his time here".
