As much as I love Jeremy Lin, I'm down. Would love to get Tyson Chandler as well...

Carmelo just went off for 62, we're happy if lin scores 15 points and has less than 6 turnovers.. so i'd pretty fair trade

I don't see why anyone laughs this off as either unfeasible or illogical.

Honestly it makes sense for all parties. Carmelo Anthony is leaving NY at this point. Just cannot see any possible way he stays. They are never going anywhere with Stat and Chandler keeping that much cap room. No star is going to wait around for those guys to clear off the books.

Houston is looking like a second round exit. You may be able to win with Howard and Harden as 1 and 1A but you will need a 1AA. Anthony provides our dream stretch four. We just need to reign in the chucking. The conventional logic says you don't trade for a guy w/o a guarantee of an extension but that does not apply here (IMO) Asik+Lin+Motiejunas+rights to Portland assets from TRob trade+2014 first rounder.

Worst case scenario Anthony doesn't really work out and leaves in FA. We still have a ton of caproom and haven't lost any great assets. Just a volume of decent assets.

Best case scenario is that Anthony/Harden/Howard are able to overcome the chemistry of teams like SA and OKC and then the fact that LBJ is by far the best player in the world (other that KD).

NY gets their media darling back along with a solid center. They don't care about actually paying those guys $30 million next year.

Me either I think he's gone by deadline unless they make a huge playoff push. He has said he can't wait until free agency, only thing that matters to him is winning he said he's already broke scoring records & this week said he would pick the bulls over lakers. That's slaps in the face to NY, I know Dolan does some wild stuff but he better take what he can get at deadline that man is not staying in NY.

    1st Lebron
    2nd Howard
    3rd Melo
