2 Part question. 1. About once a day, my car (rx300) has an issue shifting into 2nd or 3rd smoothly. It jerks a bit and then goes in. The tach doesn't spike up, it just feels like it's missing the gear when shifting. Any clues on what it could possibly be? 2. Does anyone know of a reputable transmission shop on the West side of Houston?
is the rough shifting only when the transmission is cold? once it heats up, it goes away? try hunting down forums that are specific to your vehicle, there'll be heaps of people with issues, and more times than not, remedies can be found swapping transmission fluid would be the very first suggestion
