I love Capela's hands man. After years of Asik and Howard fumbling the ball around it's refreshing to see a center that can catch passes for once.
Of note, GSW played their centers a grand total of 15 min last night. It explains a bit about why Capela was out of his element. Props to Montrezl, though
I think this is a good chart to show that the Boogie fit isn't as good as I and many others once believed. He's a pick n pop player. We much more prefer the roll, 2 pts at the rim are easier to get. I'm also surprised that Whiteside isn't up there on Roll Man Scoring and DeAndre Jordan is nowhere to be found.
Capela is still very slight. Look at what the physical play of the Warriors death squad did to him. He didn't get one dunk or lob dunk last night I think. To be fair they bumped and pushed Capela really hard while he was up in the air and no foul was ever called. I think Dwight could have hammered home a couple those regardless.
Exactly, what I was thinking. However, I worry that he will slow down, if he bulks up any more. Capela needs to develop a reliable jumper, and play as a reserve 5/4 in the future.
Hawks on a 5 game losing streak. Losers of 8 of last 9 games and the dreaded players only meeting has already happened. Drummond 14 and 14 tonight and Howard with 2 points, 6 rebounds and 5 fouls. Clint with a casual 13 and 10 tonight and the team looking way better than last year. No need to lament what we lost when Dwight left any longer. This current version of Howard wasn't going to take us anywhere. We briefly caught lightning in a bottle a couple seasons ago and went as far as that combination could take us.
