cant find this movie

    i have a movie scene in mind but i cant figure in which movie it is

    there's an explosion in a building, and the main character jumps into the pipe where you usually dump your trash, and he falls all the way down in the main trashbox in the basements of the building


    hope you understand what i'm trying to say lol ...

    It's not Die Hard; the explosion on the roof sent McClane jumping off the side of the building. Another explosion in the building was set off by him in the elevator shaft. He did, earlier in the film jump into the air ducts though...but no garbage chute.

    I can't think of the movie but Stars Wars: ANH keeps springing to my mind. :p

    If you can't remember who the main character was then it must not be an "A list" type movie.

    Home alone 2 the kid slides down a trash disposal tube, but not into the basement I don't think.

    Sounds a lot like Point of No Return, which is a remake of Lefemme Nikita. Of course, that was a chick and you described a dude doing that.

    In the Toy Story sequel I think Buzz Lightyear fell through a trash thing...or something to do with luggage at an airport.

    Ice-T was in it, but Denzel was the one who jumped into the shaft at the explosion, I think.
