Only drove through Vancouver once on our way to Whistler, so can't comment much on it.

I used to travel quite a bit to the Toronto area for business. Stayed in Markham from 1 to 4 weeks each time and usually during the winter months. It was very clean, traffic was ok, scenic, nice people. Quite ethnically diverse city. Shopping was kind of weird with mostly CVS like stores. Didn't go out much, except to local restaurants so not sure about daily living. Cost of living didn't seem bad and I believe it was lower than HOU.

I absolutely prefer Houston over it though, even with our humid weather. But always though it was a very nice clean city and not a bad place to live. Granted, I only faced one snow storm during all my visits there and that could change my mind fast.

How are going to indicate voting for muslims is progressivism? This the typical liberal nonsense.

SMH. My wife is from T dot. Toronto aside from its weather does not suck at all. Beautiful women, fairly scenic, diverse, great dining, great night life. A mini NYC is what I call it.

I wish we had someone of his caliber running for President.

I'm not trying to be rude, but I actually don't understand what you're trying to say here.

You'll feel like you're partying with nothing but models. I've been visiting Toronto since I was 18.

    fixed it for you.

    ;)

not to be the Canadian who actually shows love for Toronto, but it is a great city. And Canada has a lot of beautiful people, but of course, I'm biased :)

as for diversity, that is very well-claimed.

    to each is his own

Beautiful women-not better than anywhere else
Fairly Scenic-not very scenic compared to rest of Canada
    Great Dining-that's true
Great night life-also above average these days
Diverse-every major city in Canada in diverse
    Mini New York-just no

The weather sucks, the infrastucture sucks, the city planning sucks especially with transit and dealing congestion. Oh and the city is pretty ugly.

Again this is only in comparison to cities in Canada I've been to, Vancouver, Montreal, Halifax

^I meant mini NYC bc of the diversity, food and the gazillion condos.

Which American city are you from?

Vancouver doesn't compare when it comes to night-life and food. Very beautiful city though.

Women not being better than anywhere else? Yes, from a numbers perspective, it's much better in Toronto compared to those other Canadian cities.

With today's exchange rate? Nope, not a chance.

Apparently my girlfriend is dying to go to the Valley since she is in tech.

OMG, ISIS is going to take over Canada!

    :(

We need to build a wall along the Canadian border.

Did the prime minister get assassinated by the refugees at all?

There have been 2 casualties of Islamic terrorism in the last decade in Canada. Toronto is one of the only majority-minority cities in North America with significant immigrant populations. There have been no casualties from terrorism there despite there being tens of thousands of resettled refugees.

In that time, 16 Canadians have been killed by bears. Put another way, bears are responsible for 8x the deaths than extremist Islam in Canada.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_fatal_bear_attacks_in_North_America#2000s

the real extremists reveal themselves: anti-immigration bears! They welcome you to the party, Commodore.
