I would think most NBA players in their prime would have a little different attitude than this...its pathetic! Oft-injured and oft-whiney point guard Terrell Brandon is ready to cede mintues to younger guards Chauncey Billups and William Avery. "Thirty-two, 33 minutes would be good minutes for me," the 31-year-old Brandon told the Minneapolis Star Tribune. "The older I get, I want to decrease these minutes. So next year, maybe I can go to the bench and let somebody else take all this pressure. I can kind of sit back and enjoy the game more." Brandon averaged 36.2 minutes last season and, miraculously, played in 78 games. "So I can sit back and enjoy the game more."???!?! I really don't know what to say about this, I mean, how can an NBA player in his prime want to sit out over a quarter a game so he can enjoy the view from the bench? and the T-wolves are wondering why they can't get over the hump? I think Kelvin might have a new buddy...
I caught that to Severe, that's a joke. Show some heart. I can understand if you're at the end of your career, or you're trying to win a title and produce, but WANTING to go to the bench when you can obviously be a starter!? Sounds to me like he wants to be an NBA fan and collect millions of dollars doing it! Amazing!
