Im not mad at Golden State. Its these players. Im used to watching men play basketball not these little puss% chumps that are scared of a challenge. Im used to Jordan giving all he has to beat the Pistons. Im used to players like Dream smashing Robinson because he got the trophy that was really his. These players like Durant and Cousins are just weak minded.

Maybe one of those teams should have offered him a bigger contract.

Lol, he took 5 mil I bet others would’ve offered more, he obviously doesn’t care about the money. Rockets could’ve offered him more

You cannot complain when your team committed big $$ contracts to Anderson & Gordon, then 4 year MAX to a 33 year old injury prone Paul. The Warriors got discount with all of their starters, Curry was a bargain for years, then Green & Thompson signed for less than they could have got, and Durant took a big cut last season, etc. Their management just got it done, and out smarted every team out there.

According to him, no one else gave him an offer - even the Pelicans.

uh no. they just benefited with the cap rise at the right time. if thats in your favor then of course it looks easy to people that dont understand when all their players contracts were signed and how it relates to the cap movement

this would be funny if every team did it once to the warriors per year to send a message

Yes the rise of the cap did help, but that's the case for all other 29 teams. Green & Klay did sign the contract below the asking price, and Durant did took a big cut last year, while Paul got every penny out of the Rockets at 33 with an injury prone body.

Jordan had a stacked team too against teams that were among the weakest ever thats why they had the best record in history prior to GSW. Bird had the original Big 3 and Magic played with another GOAT candidate in Kareem.

It is unfortunate but power teams have always been with NBA history.

They only way way to really effect the league is to boycott the whole league.

But let's me real no one is going to boycott.

The cap's rise was known several years in advance. Every team had the opportunity to make moves to clear capspace and make compelling offers if they wanted. GS simply drafted extremely well and thus was able to have the best team while having lots of cap space. To add to it, they made basketball extremely fun for the players with their style of play. It's not a surprise people would choose to go there. When you have more money than you can ever spend, other factors like simply maximizing enjoyment start taking precedence.

the drafting has little to do with it. the timing of klay, dg, and curry signing their contracts just happened to benefit them at the right time. if each one of them waited til the actual cap rise you wouldn't be seeing the team you see today. thats what people like you dont understand

And just FYI I’m not trying to come off as a Whiney b**** but it’s kind of sad what’s happening, it defiantly hurts the NBA.

5,’ all stars.... 1 former all star....

Three of those all stars together won a title, had the best record in nba history, created an mvp, defensive player of the year, two three point contest winners and among many other personal records and accolades

Then you sign the second best player in the world that’s 7 foot and dribbles and shoots like a 6 footer. Win two more titles. Then you sign a top 3-5 center for 5 mil in the league while retaining your main role players nick young, Livingston, West, iggy and etc

That’s working the system, it’s not just on the players for being cowards, it’s on the warriors for even being that cheap.

This won’t happen because teams can’t have traded for two DPE guys on the same team (Kyrie/Davis)
