It is? Last I checked the defending champs have a 7 footer at the 3 spot. Would Devin Booker be guarding him?

Ps. Getting Devin Booker is obviously as close to 0% chance as possible

Sadly, Ariza is a better rim finisher than PJ Tucker. Watch the next time that man tries to make a layup.

PS, does this not belong in the "random trade ideas" thread?

We might have better luck getting Kawhi Leonard but would we want to?

Lol, the only reason we have any shot at all at Lebron is because he’s about to be a free agent. The Rockets can’t finesse their way into anything. PHX has what reason exactly to trade away their franchise player, and they’d trade him for what on this roster? This thread is ridiculous.

I don't know. I've seen PJ do some pretty agile layups on the break when he was dribbling from the hash mark. I was surprised by how much control he had in the air.

Booker makes this team 96% unbeatable, Davis makes this team unbeatable.

All Booker has to do is start trashing the organization and demand a trade. If Phoenix starts next year off terrible (which is VERY possible), you can't imagine Booker pouting to the media about not winning?

Just because you can get one doesn't mean the other is possible....

The ability to land Lebron is very much tied to the fact that he has leverage over the Cavs , Booker has no such leverage.

If Lebron had no opt out clause , he'd be at the mercy of the team , since he has that , the shoe is on the other foot. He can simply opt out and sign elsewhere. Doesn't matter where or for how much , just that he can do so and Cleveland gets no return. Send me where I want to go or get nothing.

Booker is on a rookie contract .... the team will be able to dictate where he plays for the next 5 years - the amount of time he has left on his current deal and the duration of his RFA contract. They MAY trade him , but it wont be to his destination of choice , it'll be to the team that gives them the best return.

That might get him dealt .... But it wont get him dealt to where HE wants , it'll get him sent to whoever gives up the most.

Y'all are overrating booker . Good stats on a bad team ... yes he's young , but that doesn't always guarantee future improvement (especially big improvement)

Frankly his situation is PHX sucks ... but I haven't seen evidence that this guy can play a lick of D . And obviously the situation would be different here in Houston , but that he hasn't shown it at all is concerning .

His best case scenario as a player is a poor mans Klay and he is pretty far away from that both in the offensive department and especially on defense .

OK actually DMo has looked like a nice piece in China in the past season - still has his touch in the post and running well down the court. Doubt he'll ever re-sign with us though hahahah

He was money game 7 against the Clippers so he definitely has his moments.
