if anything, lex has been the type that is willing to do anything for a championship even buying one, like the failed #33 experiment.

We'll just have to wait for generational change (i.e. for Uncle Le$ to pass away). Either way, he, along with Maury, need to go. Full regime change is the only answer. Le$, Maury, and McFail all tried to build a championship team. They've had ample time in which to do so. They've all failed. I have been consistent in holding this position for complete regime change for a long time.

Even if they do he'll still demand it. Just like the trade deadline last year when we were poised to make a championship run by getting a point guard.

Dude - you forget that this is Les' business. He doesn't owe anything to you - he spent millions of his own money(not yours) on the franchise and is running it like a business. He didn't become a very wealthy man if it wasn't in his blood to make money at everything he does and this team is no exception.

....you have a right as a fan to not support him if you don't agree with that, but the fact with ALL sports franchises is the owners want to make money first, and win second.

So far I like what he's done. He has balls and isn't brainwashed by bull**** stats. Yeah, he's a bit on the cheapside too but I like the change he's doing

true, but let's not forget that les' arena is heavily subsidized by local taxpayers, so there is an implicit obligation on his part to do more than just maximize his own profits

Seems slightly unfair criticism when he's just paid a $12M buyout for a coach he re-signed less than a year ago.

What are you even talking about? You act like he went above and beyond what normal owners do and paid extra money for those guys.

The only move you can for sure say he's ate cash on is firing McHale. As well as the second rounders he's paid for.

I think Les is cheap, his actions as of late however, don't really reflect that.

Hakeem should have paid for his last season, instead he went to Toronto.

The lakers, no mater how bad kobe is now, is paying him for his loyalty and championships.

Obviously the rockets have won nothing since dream left, so paying him one more year a big amount affects nothing in the long run.

I still think Barkley is right about being owed. Why would Barkley lie or be so bitter? He was happy here when he was playing.

    Stop posting.

We are very fortunate to have Les Alexander as an owner and his willingness to swing for the fences/shell out money to improve the team. Very fortunate.

    Quite frankly, you're an idiot.

Can you provide an example of when he's shelled out money to improve the team aside from the firing of McHale and buying second rounders like I've mentioned?
