What's the record? He is on a pace to have over 30 sacks by season's end.

I'd say Mario with a motor and good coaching, can't under value the effect Wade and his group have had on the entire defense.

Physical skills and build: both are pretty freakish in size...

Mario is always looking for something to help get him going...
Watt on the other hand, is a self starter...generates his own motivation...

Based on just these two players...what Watt has done in his limited time of work has been leaps and bounds so much better than what Mario will ever do in his career...

I enjoyed repping him with his jersey at a Richmond sports bar today. Just incredible how good he is. Titans tried dirtyand cheap hits but it didn't even phase him. Unfair how good he is.

Ok guys I am kind of confused here, the OP said he has 5.5 sacks through 3 games but I am pretty sure he just reached 5.5 after today's game.

That would put him at 5.5/4 = 1.375 sacks per game which projects to 22 sacks.
While that would still be very impressive it would not be greater than Strahan's 22.5 sack record.

He has 7.5 sacks for the season now. 7.5/4 = almost two (). At exactly this current rate, we are talking about 30 sacks. But HIGHLY unlikely that happens.

The summer after that (2014) or 2015 I believe. Brown's contract was the one ending the coming summer (2013) and Cushing's contract ends the next one (2014). Ultimately, I suspect the Texans will make a choice and either pay Cushing or sign Watt to an extension if both are still playing at the level they are now in 2014.

But I think most of the major contracts aside from Schaub and Brown are ending around that time anyway.
