according to Hollinger's power rankings, the Warriors have had the 20th hardest schedule so far. So what kind of record would you expect them to end up with at the end of the regular season ?
Well, they probably won't keep up an all time great point differential but I don't think their record will suffer too much.
72 wow but I would say 65+ without MJ, Shaq like players is really incredible enough to achieve Golden State have better players while Atlanta rely more on teamwork/and they are in the East It could be historical that both are excellent in the regular season but both might not win this year's championship. GSW is better right now.
With that said if the Rox are not competitive in the Playoffs it is up to the Spurs or Grizz to stop the Warriors. I am not quite sure about Dallas. They are dangerous in the playoffs but can choke as well.

Probably not. That 72 win season was a bit of anatomy since there were two brand new teams (Toronto and Vancouver) and the talent in the league was too diluted.
Im curious to see if GSW will tank a little at the end of the year to avoid being a 1 seed and match up with OKC. Unlikely, but interesting if OKC is 8.
I'm convinced that gsw are gonna win 70 games.. Close but not enough.. But still. They are having an amazing run
People always complain about parity in the NBA, yet the one year where we have a chance for new blood in the NBA Finals. I've been hearing how poor the ratings will be, if GS/Memphis/Atlanta/Washington end up in the NBA Finals.
68-70 wins, sure, why not?! What, you don't think 35-6/36-5 is sustainable for another 41 games? I look forward to that February 6th (& March 18th) game. Somehow, neither on national television.
Whoever you heard from that said the ratings would be poor if GSW get to the finals, I hope you slapped them once to get their attention and twice to slap out the stupidity from them. To answer OP's question, I think they both can but I doubt either will. I figure one miight get to 70 but that'd be it. Maybe Atlanta gets 70 feeding on the East.
