Looks like he didn't play the 4th even though he already had 32, so maybe he doesn't care about the title?

Looks like Kobe only needs 34 to beat him, assuming Durant doesn't play again.

He cares about it. So does Kobe. Assuming KD sits out tomorrow, I wonder how hard Kobe will go at it for 3 quarters in Sacramento Thursday.

Then again, OKC can actually rationalize playing hard tomorrow to beat the Nuggets because winning would guarantee them home court against the Heat in the Finals.

I know it's a stretch. KD & WB will both probably rest.

i agree i think its about 95% or more chance you see the bulls or heat out of the east. so you would think they would want to win.

The OKC beatwriter just corrected himself and said they have already clinched home-court against the Heat, so everything KD does tonight is strictly geared towards the scoring title. The Nuggets are a good team for him to put up big numbers against but Kobe should have an even easier time tomorrow against the sorry Kings.

Westbrook just got hurt. Probably will be ok but what a dumbass for having these guys still in the game.

I know. What purpose for having KD/WB in this game. KD got his 30. Sit them all. And they're LOSING.

Word. How many pts does Kobe need to win the scoring title with Durant having 30.

Just silly to sill have them out there. Westbrook gets hurt and he still puts him back in the game smh

And now Brewer shuts it w/ a bank shot unintentionally. Time to sit your stars Brooks.

I don't know, but I don't Brown will play Kobe much at all with Kobe's injury issues. He needs rest considering how much he sputtered in the playoffs last year.

LOL @ Dfish with so much fail.

Maybe b/c they've been struggling the past few weeks. Need a good game to go into the playoffs. Yet they still lost.

If the Nuggets win tomorrow in Minny, two interesting playoff series will be created: Nuggets/Lakers and Mavs/OKC. IMO, Nuggets/OKC and Mavs/Lakers would be predictable.

Since there is no game thread: without Maynor and Harden, that 2nd unit is atrocious.

Mavs want OKC. It'll be a very entertaining series I agree.

Nuggets just don't have the size to match up with the Lakers unfortunately. But the Lakers struggle to guard quick guards, and Lawson could be in for a showcase on the national stage.

    Mini-LBJ. They never get injured.

Lakers are also a very poor road team and the Nuggets have a huge edge in coaching. Could go 6 or 7.
