Parsons and TD switched. So Parsons was the one guarding Lillard when he went beast mode

Switching on a pick means that TD locked down Lillard???? Wow someone has zero basketball knowledge whatsoever.

I didn't know Sampson was blind. I wonder how he could say that Douglas was playing better defense on Lillard.

You brought Lin in to be one of your stars. Leave him on the court in crunch time. How else will he learn? you don't sit one of your stars for freaking Tony F'n Douglas.

Um no, people that don't watch the game don't deserve to make stupid comments.

Sampson better have gone to the locker room and told Lin "Im sorry Jeremy, I promise I'll get it right next time." and Lin will fist bump him.

Lin was MUCH better on defense against Lillard than Douglas was... Lin is actually a pretty good defender (I know steals aren't the whole story, but look at Lin's advanced defensive stats, too... he's not great, but he's a solid defender).

Sampson doing this is just indefensible... it's like he's trying to prove something. Seems very personal vs. Lin (because objectively it makes no sense at all), which at this level is just awful. One game (THIS game) could easily be the difference between us making the playoffs or not... Sampson basically forfeited this game to stick it to Lin.

So keeping lin out made no difference. Unless Portland rather have lillard shoot over a 6'9 forward instead.

Read the facts getting thrown and making assumptions.

Lin wasn't getting torched at all, atleast not until that last possesion at the end of reg when it was just superior O by a future stud.

Stop thinking with hate and prejudice peeps. Damn.

Lin ain't All D , but atleast he did better statistically (and eye test, if you must) on Lillard tonight than TD, who was the one who went under all the screens and let him get room to shoot and also letting switches to happen
