well his career high in TDs is 17? his career comp % is under 60? do people really think alex smith is the guy that would have scored over 40 points against the patriots and won that game?
LOL at bringing up that Alex Smith won the game against the Saints in the playoffs last year. The Saints defense was horrible last year and even Matt Schaub would have been able to torch that D, actually he pieced them up pretty good but our defense had one of their worst games of the entire season against N.O. last year and that's why we lost. Alex Smith sucks and he is definitely not the answer. He is more of a game manager/system QB than Matt. Alex Smiths best season as a pro would barely crack one of Matts top 5.
