Draft Black/Dick & hire Mo Cheeks of course.

Have a tribute night dedicated to past football player great Dick Butkus and racing legend Dick Trickle.

Sidenote: Former NBA player Chubby Cox played one year in the NBA and his nephew was named Kobe Bryant

Miller falls to #4 for us. We take him.

Trade to #10 and take Lively.

My preference is for A. Black, but I've gotten more acceptable to swinging for the fences with Amen the last day or so.
But something in the back of my mind keeps thinking we may get "Paolo'd" with Amen this year and Miller dropping to us!

But I actually do think that Miller would be a great fit with Orlando and we'd then have a good chance to get #6 and #11 from them for just #4 alone.
We might even squeeze #36 out as well!

But hey, it's 1:11am and the vegas odds haven't gone haywire yet so what do I know?
I'll just guess we stay at 4 and pick/hope that Amen is an answered prayer for us and not a pestilence on Rockets fans far and wide!

i don’t know how the draft will unfold but i will call that scoot will be a top 10 player in the league within a few years

This is what I voted will happen. Everyone's been hyping up Amen the last couple of weeks if I'm Portland I'm looking at all that smoke, remember how lucky I was with Sharpe and seen how Orlando screwed the Rox past year.

Stone will take the BPA at #4. Likely Amen.

I hope I'm wrong, but In the press conference after the draft, Stone will comment on how the asking price to move up in the draft from #20 to #10 was higher than he liked. Both Whitmore and Lively will be on the board at #10.

The Rocket's "core" will remain unchanged: Porter, Green, Smith, Eason, Sengun

    FVV resigns with Toronto

I actually think Portland might blink on Scoot. I know the maxim "never draft for fit", but if it means losing Dame? Is the trade market for the third pick soft? If they can't trade it, are they really going to draft Scoot to have him ride the bench? They could trade Dame, but maybe they aren't ready to go full rebuild. That's been their public message anyway... Something's got to give there. If things don't break they're way for a trade, maybe Portland passes on Scoot for a more compatible option.

I think we are getting Walker at 4 and trading up to 10 for Jett Howard or Ausar.

Looks like Jett's stock is falling, so maybe not Jett. He's a steal at 20, if he falls to us.

If the Hornets let outgoing Jordan draft Miller after letting Jordan pick Kidd-Gilchrist, Zeller, Vonleh, Kaminsky with high lottery picks in successive drafts - > they should maybe relocate the franchise again.

We get a lead guard instead of a big. Black, Hood-Schifino or Wallace.

    Miller > Eason so

    Eason & Martin
    For
    Dallas’ #10

Drafting Amen at 4, trading # 20 and picking up bad contracts for future picks/players, and signing FVV in FA.

Portland trades 3 for a team wanting Amen so Rockets draft Miller at 4. 20 is traded for a 2nd and future highly protected first.
