Calvin Johnson is the best receiver in the NFL. But if it weren't for Romo melting down, he wouldn't have had a chance to play hero again. I love it when the Cowboys lose heartbreaking games at home. After the 3rd pick, you just knew the Lions were going to score a TD and win.
Megatron almost has many touchdowns in 4 weeks as andre has ever had in a full season. Dre is getting older too.
I chalk that up to Ryan getting what he deserved for calling out a guy who isn't one of the diva WRs in the league. You don't call out guys like that in the media, especially when they aren't tooting their own horn.
If Im not mistaking...The Cowboys only have one playoff win from 2000-2011 The sole reason they are still popular and haven't turned into the 9ers? Jerry Jones
And he was also 16th in receiving yards and 13th in receptions coming into week 4. If touchdowns were the main indicator in terms of ranking at a position, Mike Tolbert was basically a top 5 RB last season. Let's also forget that the Lions don't have players like Foster and OD taking away end-zone targets from AJ.
I was wondering what the heck they were doing on that final 1st and goal. I kept thinking - this is an easy call, corner fade route for Megatron! Luckily after the defensive penalty they saw the light and did the corner fade. TD.
no, because it's the truth. Calvin in an amazing talent and has been on a ridiculous streak lately, but a hot streak does not trump the track record of AJ. Amazing how history tends to be forgotten because of the most recent ESPN show.
Last year Calvin Johnson had 12tds. Matt Stafford only played in 3 games last year. Its all about TDs. To you point about Tolbert....dont be silly.
Track record and history don't matter in the discussion. I love AJ, but Megatron is a better receiver in the here and now.
What does track record and history have to do with anything, the question was who is the best WR right now and that's CJ.
