    It was kind of weak .. . . .
The whole breaking the windows thing was kind of weak

I think the sword was knocked from his hand so I dunno if he had anything
to cut his head out with . . . but i thought a good kicking or something

The human side is poorly represented at this point.

They got to have more than the pest control squad, the old guy, Eph and his crew, the lizard guy and the Mexican.

The finale was OK. Left me feeling empty. It was better than a contrived cliffhanger.

If the purpose was to create anticipation for season 2, mission accomplished. The plot better move faster next year or I might run out of patience.

I can only say there's much more revealing stuff in the 2nd and 3rd book

I thought the finale was pretty good. Keep in mind, it was shot BEFORE a 2nd season was green lit. The ratings were good and it got renewed.

So, the finale had to try to balance potentially being the last episode and yet at the same time open doors for a 2nd season if it got picked up. Which it did. :)

The last episode or 2 were significantly better than the rest of the season, but they should be used as a baseline, they were just normal episodes or other programs I watch.
