I dunno, but I think they were also in the scene with the Sears boyfriend at work after his friend got bit from last episode.

 

That last episode was a game changer with that spoiler item. Loved that swerve! Looking forward to seeing how that plays out!!

 

BTW the prequel scenes with the German in the last episode were fantastic!

 

Really liked that turn, sure made things much more interesting but I can't help but think that Del Toro really mined some left over ideas he didn't use from Blade 2....

 

The Game definitely changed.

I am interested how the Jail scene is going to play out.

The Prequal flash backs are an interesting mix

I am still interested and watching
better than most summer fare

I agree but the whole Vampire genre is so played out that it's almost impossible to have a 'new' angle on vamps these days. The freshest thing I've seen is sparkly vamps in Twilight. That said, you have to accept a level of cliche when it comes to these types of shows. They seemed to pull it off pretty well.

I just caught up on this show and the gas station episode and the introduction of the Snake(?) Army is what sold me. This show reminds me of BLADE and Contagion combined with a little mix of Dawn of the Dead.

For some odd reason I kept wanting "The Master" to be Adolf Hitler. lol

Who knew this would turn into such a fun show? I really want to know who these snake men are.

was it the snake men that were in the hall way when Eph's ex-wifes boyfriend died? I don't remember the vampire people covering themselves like that.

 

I'm mostly enjoying the show, but I'm finding Eph's girlfriend's angst about killing vampires super annoying. She was actually apologizing as she shot them outside the gas station.

And Eph's skepticism towards what the Old Jew is telling him is going on is over the top. I almost think it's like an inside joke among the writers. The Old Jew has even started saying things like "How many times do I have to be proven right before you start to believe me?"
