Something important to remember is that CAA tried to attract Lin as there client when he broke out. He refused and signed with Williams and Connolly. If Lin was with CAA he would be a knick right now.

too bad they dont care enough about the nba. they have more pressing needs like making sure the military industrial war complex keeps chugging along.

Anybody that's just finding out this stuff is really blissfully ignorant or just can't see the wall that's right in front of them. This stuff is real.

    This.

The Knicks is not for winning. They are just a platform for the fame/money hungry players. And the CAA is the bloodsucker behind all this. Dolan, meanwhile, is the sucker.

The 6 degrees of Jeremy lin articles talks about CAA's influence, so this isn't all crackpot.

Nowhere is SAS referenced as a power player. In fact it's the exact opposite. He's a pawn that's feed insider info in exchange for towing the company line.

What were you watching? SAS has been Lin's biggest hater since Linsanity began. Pretty much has never said a nice thing about Lin unless it's followed by numerous negative things.

I wouldn't want to mess with the CIA either! Conspiracy theory. I shall ask Mel what really happened.

Shows how much I paid attention. I'm still gonna go with the SAS being a power player part.

Jeremy Lin is still a way better ball player then SAS being a sports reporter. Love how Cuban clowned those two jesters.

Not sure why people think this is so crackpot. Similar stories were released by various sports media outlets around the same time as LeBron's The Decision. Heck, even Henry Abbott's "The Family" article says the Knicks are heavily influenced by CAA.

interesting read and seems to tie in well to the happenings of personnel. if true, it's sad to see players' love of the game second to marketing. money talks and that's that.

Sure, but at the end it's Dolan and his advisers who made the call. In all likelihood, they were going to match Lin to the first offer regardless of all this.
Probably they just didnt feel Lin's last year is worth the overage for the tax. That is ok, and that's a their problem. They should just shut up on other excuses for not signing Lin. 8 mil a year is reasonable for us and Les knows where to get it back from China.

& his advisers are with CAA. His main adviser, Isiah freaking Thomas is also CAA.

Check out that link i posted in this thread showing CAA clients. MSG, Dolan's own company is with CAA.
