Scott just doesn't seem like he's very smart. From the over conditioning, to we need to shoot fewer threes, to this. Why would you motivate someone like Dwight Howard, who has the capacity to destroy your undersized front line, right before the season opener.

This reminds of Jerry Glanville and his stupid "House of Pain" bs. I remember Warren Moon wondering why you would want to give every team in the league special motivation when they play you.

Yep. Kobe chose money over winning, and Dwight chose winning over money.

OK, now I've ****ing had it. **** Byron Scott, that dumbass mother****er wouldn't have any championship rings if it hadn't been for some guys named Magic, Kareem, and Big Game James. And that ****ing asstit ****ed up as a coach, as well- I guess he wasn't serious enough as a coach, right? I guess Dwight was serious enough to lead the Magic to the Finals, and then he just totally lost his drive to win the championship once he got there, right?

No, absolute utter ****ing bull****. I hope some of those ******* Lakers fans are reading this. YOU ****ING LISTENING ALREADY???? Dwight Howard is no less driven to win a championship than Kobe Bryant. Kobe Bryant won 5 championships b/c he had Shaq on his team for 3 and a great supporting cast for 2 (Pau, Bynum, etc.). Like others said, if Dwight wasn't serious about a championship, he would've stayed with the going-downhill Lakers team.

    So, here's a list of well-deserved **** Yous:

    1. **** You- to Byron Scott, for being a gravytraining, Kobe-slobbing, mediocre coach. May your Lakers **** up so bad that your ass is given a well-deserved boot out of coaching by season 2.

    2. **** You- to the national media. What an utter bunch of ignorant asses- what, your heads are so far up the Yankees-Lakers-Cowboys asses that you can't even write objectively about them? Particularly in this case, the Lakers? Here's the plain, ****ing, truth, lame-ass media members:

** The Lakers haven't been relevant since 2010.
** The Lakers, like the Cowboys, will be in a decade-long slide of irrelevance, so get used to slobbing on other teams.
** Kobe Bryant isn't going to get better. Kobe Bryant will never be a star again. He is irrelevant in NBA 2014-2015 and will continue to be until he retires.

    3. **** You- to Entitled Lakers Fans- or Elfs. Congratulations on your 16 championships. Your team earned and deserved all those. However, your team does not "deserve" a championship merely by showing up. And as it is shaping up, be prepared for a long period of irrelevance. You want to blame someone? Blame Kobe. As Mr. Rhythm said many years ago, "That which make you can also break you."

    4. **** You- to Kobe Bryant. Newsflash, Mr. Bryant- being monomaniacal about winning a championship didnt' win you a championship. It was one part of many reasons you won. Mr. Jackson, Mr. O'Neal, Mr. Gasol, Mr. Bynum, Mr. Fisher, and Mr. Horry, among others, were critical to them. Other players are just as dedicated as you- and some have won, and some have lost. Period. Your whole ******* persona really didn't do anything to win championships- if anything, you won IN SPITE OF being a dick****. The a-hole side of you is the reason you won't win anymore.

All other narratives end today. Dwight Howard joined the Houston Rockets because the Houston Rockets, in his opinion, would give him the best chance of winning the championship. That is it. Period. End of story. Case closed. Roll the end credits. I am going to speak for all Houston Rockets fans when I say that's the truth, there is no other truth, and quite frankly, we are not discussing it anymore with you sons-of-b****es. We are DONE with it.

Kobe obviously isn't very serious about winning, or he wouldn't have taken all that money to tie up the team's ability to get talent.

It is going to be awesome watching Dwight Howard "unseriously" dominate the paint on both ends of the floor tomorrow night at Staples Center.

LMAO this is the same dude who told the Lakers to stop taking so many 3s....in the same season Greg Poppovich admitted he hated the 3 pointer but it was necessary to win.

So tbh it doesn't matter what this clown says, because he doesn't know ****.

This is the guy who had Robbie price (didn't even realise he was in the nba still) lined up at pg after Nash went down and is telling his players to shoot long twos because their closer than a three.

    Your lakers coach everyone

LOL, really. This quote says it all:
"Scott also added that, though he doesn't know Howard's motivation heading into the game, he is "sure he would love to play and beat the crap out of us."

Nothing motivates more than haters talkin'
