Exactly, and since this isn't Communist China, people can say whatever they want without consequence. Land of the free, with freedom of speech. You don't like it, the consequence is you can get out. If Morey were to be fired today 29 other teams would immediately look to snap him up.
Except you are wrong because free speech does not include free to violate others rights in the process.
unnecessary, dude... Whatever happens brings somebody into the fold is meaningless... If somebody became a Rox fan bc they followed Yao or Lin or TMac or whatever doesnt matter - if they stayed on as a fan after that reason was gone... I lived in Houston from age 8-16 and thats when I became a fan (I'm 49 now)... and I didnt join CF until it had been up a few years.... so I'm not a 99er...
This isn’t a China Only fan site It’s a Rockets only fan site it’s called the Houston Rockets Not the China Rockets Not the Tmac Rockets Not the harden Rockets Not the Yao Rockets Not the Lin Rockets If you have no love for the city of Houston and the team that represents it You can be a bandwagon fan of Utah or Dallas it’s very clear why I think non pure fans suck We don’t need to explain to you how this works
Don’t let the door hit you on your way out. If you let one tweet from one individual get in the way of your fandom then you are not a real fan. Also, what Morey said is accurate and pro-humanitarian. Stop throwing the word terrorism around to support your own fascist views. Protesting violation of rights is not terrorism.
Honestly most Rocket fans would rather not have people support their team that think it is okay to call other people “cockroaches” and think putting two million people in concentration camps is dandy. If you feel that way you can go too.
Or maybe he's afraid that, like so many have over there for their sins against the party, he'll have to apologize a piece at a time. Forced vivisection is pretty damned evil. Good riddance. Hard to beat Clutch's gif on the first page.
Sorry... but this is a pet peeve of mine... Freedom of speech is the right to say what you want without fear of persecution from the the government... ...but thats not to say that excercising that freedom may not come with consequence... Just ask Roseanne, or Paula Dean or that Duck Dynasty dude, or any of a myriad of people that have said things (right or wrong) that had a profound impact on their careers and life...
Reading all of these butthurt Mainland Chinese Rockets fans' reactions makes me wonder: just how much money was Le$ pulling in from China each year? Measured in kiloBrinks?
You make a good point.Nonetheless, they're not getting jailed or killed or sent to concentration camps.
If people want to leave Clutchfans let them the less fake fans we have The better I hate fake fans from anywhere
