There are free agents that will be available and worth going after. Mike Conley... Bradley Beal....Harrison Barnes....Nicolas Batum.... Al Horford.... Ersan Llyasova....Ryan Anderson.... Whiteside..... Afflalo....DeRozan.... The key is for the Rockets to quickly decide who they want and wrap them up...
And let's not forget Donatas Motiejunas and Marcus Thornton, those two FA's could really help the Rockets out if they could land them.
Almost all teams will have cap space this year after the salary cap going way up, so it won't really mean much. It depends on if players want to come and play with Harden and his reputation has been damaged this year. So who will want to come?
Yea because Bosh came, Melo came, and so on and so forth. Houston is a black hole now more than ever, hell, Harden doesnt wana be here anymore. This organization has become dysfunctional and unwatchable on pale morey watch.
Harden absolutely loves it here....he is given the keys to car and can do whatever he wants with no recourse from coaches or ownership. Plus and most importantly Houston has the best strip clubs and the team has no discipline, so he can party until he drops (watch some TMZ videos) and just show up to play and no problem at all. He doesn't even complain about his low salary because he is very happy with his life in Houston. Only way he leaves is if the Rox get tired of his act.
Because he ain't taking us to the promiseland. JJ Hickson would be good fit and his low iq would fit well with Howard and Harden.
I'd rather miss the playoffs and get a lotto pick and only owe the Nuggets a 2nd rounder for Lawson (instead of a 1st), as opposed to making it and getting swept.
Can't see any star free agent committed to winning a championship wanting to play along side underachievers.
The key is something Morey still needs to find. He rather hang up banners for losers with big egos and make a website than focus on getting really good players who fit better anyway.
You guys are 100% sure Dwight wont chose to use his player option and make the Rockets pay him 23 mil for another year? You are talking like it's a sure thing. Dwight and his agent are most likely understanding that demanding max might not be so easy next year.
