Need someone with size and/or length who is also an average 3pt shooter at least. If he can't hit at least 35% from distance then Mike won't play him.
Mo Hackless played a super important role besides POR's backcourt tandem in last post-season 1st round pagainst okc most of my impression on him is his shooting ability, running the floor, fast break, quite awesome. Time is ticking…makes me feel boring and helpless, cuz these pieces might be coveted by other contenders and grabbed away once got bought out/waived.
yea i agree, he's a really huge piece for some contender...hopefully he wants to play small ball with Russ, its perfect for him. MKG too. i'd rather go even smaller and play them over ben mac because of their Defense. probably house too.
Yea that sucks then next up is bender, O’Quinn Bolden or MKG Hope we get someone we do need some size that can shoot.
The Rockets should absolutely pick him up if they can. Former 4th overall pick may be same age and exact size as Harty but their games as completely different. Plus Dragan already a better perimeter/switch defender and 3ball shooter than Harty. Dragannis a perimeter offensive player too so can play 5 out with Russ. But most importantly, Dragan has played anton of minutes in Budenholzer system so we know he can be relied on defensively. Kid is more natural and fluid running down court and his BBIQ is off the charts. Very smart player, who can ball handle and pass at 7'0. I would ba surprised if some team does not pick him up before we can.
MDA will play Dragan before Harty or Tyson. 33% is damn good for a 7 footer. Hell his shooting is better than Thabo right now.
Take them all if we can: Russ/Rivers Harden/EGo/McLemore RoCo/House/Bruno Harkless/MKG PJ/Dragan/Bolden Rockets need more ball handlers on court with Beard and Brodie. Does not hurt that Dragan and Bolden over 6'8.
That would be nice. At least MDA would have to play them since they can shoot. And would be an improvement over guys that were hurt like Nene or Green or players like Clemons and Harty who MDA won’t play coz they are young.
