DJ has them forever after yelling "**** yeah" in a middle of a game in LA when the Astros won the World Series.

After all, that’s what it’s all about. Money has sucked the soul right out league.

When the Astros won the World Series against LA...in LA.

Jordan also has the Houston star tattoo'd on his arm. He's Houston through and through.

Jimmy Tomball Buckets on the other hand...

Correct Heat own 2020 and 2022. Clippers have 2021 and 2023. Heat are screwed. They wanted the Wall and Beal trade because literally it is the only play they can make on any big scale. This is worse than when they lost LBJ. They have just gone backwards.

Kyrie already has a ring though. He got criticism this season for the dysfunction in Boston, but he can actually wipe the slate clean in Brooklyn. If the Nets turn out to be contenders and Boston is no longer one, all the blame will be placed on Boston and not Kyrie no matter how much of a primadonna he is.

He has a ring as a number 2. His sickness leads him to believe he’s the alpha and can be on a champ ship team. That has failed miserably and will continue to do so

Yikes, that unprotected pick in 2023 could be huge. And they had to give it up just to get Butler there in the first place. They have no assets to improve except a bunch of expiring contracts and they are hard capped. It's not like the free agent class of 2020 is amazing either.

Yeah, but winning a ring as a number 2 was realistically as much as he could do and he did it. He and Butler aren't tier 1 superstars that can necessarily carry a title team on their own. Butler is still trying to be his own man rather than stay in Philly and contend. Kyrie is teaming up with KD in Brooklyn. KD's health is a big a big question mark, but the situation is completely different than it was in Boston.

Anyone want to take bets on the Heat not winning more than 20 games next season?

He nailed it. Butler as a focal point is not a championship team. As a 2nd or 3rd guy? Sure. But whatever.

South Beach and the 7th seed. Enjoy

In the West they wouldn’t even make the playoffs.
