That's assuming (1) Miami willing to move Richardson & (2) Philly wants Richardson and not just cap space (But yeah... when you put it like that... lol... does seem simple)
If he decides then hopefully he does it soon. Better for us if he does it now then jerk us around. At least if he decides tonight we can move on.
Sounds like BS. Heat still have to get a few deals done. Unless he cancels his Rockets meeting its BS
Just trade CP3/Tuck/EG3/ and hope Harden will stick around while we tank a year and let Capela develop an offensive game.
I think it’s very safe to assume Philly would take JRich. Miami has to move one of JRich, Winslow or Olynyk alongside Dragic for it to work cap wise. I’m guessing Philly would insist on JRich, but would take Winslow happily, or even Olynyk if Miami includes it 2023 1st with him.
Plus they're still reeling from a series of dumb contracts, now they want to give the max to someone who can't get them over the hump with the rest of their current roster? Makes no sense, except that Riley knows not doing anything in the summer pisses off fans.
I hear you ... but IIRC Heat refused to put JRich in offer before (for Butler) in Minny deal. If he does insist on Miami and Heat don't want to move JRich, I would def swoop in (after moving Capela which seems like a done deal) and offer a 1st for Winslow & Herro to facilitate (but that's IF)
It literally says it doesn't mean anything in the Tweet. The Heat expect it. This isn't coming from a Butler source so not saying it isn't going to happen just saying that Miami is expecting it.
Yeah and they drag the fanbase into it too. Bad look .. but thankfully we have more options with Nene retiring
Not many options, but I guess so. Either way...it’s another offseason of the competition getting significantly better while we generally stand pat.
