Seem's a good game, battle of the two players who have a good shot at the MVP right now, James and Rose. And Chicago finally has Noah back.
And so far James, is showing Rose what a real MVP looks like.

Asik picked up 2 fouls in 7 minutes of action, but he was snagging boards left and right. I haven't really seen much of him, but he has superb court awareness and a great motor.

I can understand why they refused to part ways with him. Kid's got a bright future.

the bulls' 2nd unit defense is just stifling.

no wonder people like asik so much. this guy is like a shutdown defender on the inside.

I'm all for giving props to Thibs, who has coach of the year wrapped up, but without Rose the Bulls wouldn't not be able to close games. Simple as that. He's taken it to another level this season. Rose plays harder on defense, but he still has room for improvement. On offense without him carrying a load, the Bulls would stagnate.

But seriously, Thibs looks like he's in the mold of Pop and Riles. He's gonna be a major factor in the Bulls being good for a very long time.

chris bosh is sucking balls offensively, and most are open shots for a star player.

bosh and the bulls' 3 point shooters are having an epic battle. so far bosh is taking it with his 1-16 but the bulls 2-19 on 3's is still impressive.

the bulls defense is 2-3x better with the 2nd unit. yes, they will lose some close games w/o rose's creativity b/c you do need stars. all i'm saying is those who claim losing rose would make the bulls a lottery team. i actually don't agree with that.

their interior defense is just stifling, even when guys get past the first line of defense on the perimeter.

thats almost too kind lol, hes making kobe and ray allens game 7 performance look jordanesque lol. 1-16 for 5pts and counting.

On the other hand, Wade and Lebron are a combine 22-39 for 56 points with 17 rbs and 6 assist!

i was looking at rose's on court/off court stats on 82games over the all star break. and the bulls are amazingly different depending on whether rose is on the court or not. when he's off, their offense plummets 11 points/100 possessions but at the same time, their D is 7 points better and holds teams to something like 95.6 pts/100 poss, an unbelievably good number. basically, neither team scores when rose leaves the game.

    Rose isn't MVP.

Thibbs is the heart and soul of that team.

Did you see Bulls' bench out play Miami's starters???

    Rose has disappeared once again.

i think miami is the only team i've ever seen called for an offensive foul on that reggie miller leg kick out. twice this season. the other may have also been chalmers so maybe he just needs to tone the bruce bowen high kick down to just a reggie leg stick out.
