It's good statement. And you know what fear it is? It's fear of the unknown. If you're facing off against Harden, you don't know how he's going to eviscerate you that night. Could be draining threes. Could be punching to the basket. Could be finding Capela or an open shooter. Or like last night, all three of those. Or something else. He played a post-up possession yesterday that was just beautiful.

Harden is a Lovecraftian entity: an unknown that you can't comprehend, and that's terrifying.

This is just another confirmation of the old saying around here: "fear the Beard" it's just too bad people are catching on a tad too late. But well, it's better too late than never... get my drift? Oh by the way, it's not just the players and coaches that fear the Beard -- those are the obvious. The refs fear the Beard too. That's why, oftentimes, they don't know what to do with their whistles when it comes to the Beard's bag of tricks and wizardry on the court.
