We need to set aside 3-4 hours Sunday to cheer like heck-fire for the Atlanta Falcons this Sunday. They play Tennessee, who are still hanging around at 5-4. I'm going to feel a lot better if/when they're vanquished. As long as that head-to-head remains, we can't count them out if they continue to stay a game back of us. More than focusing on how the Texans are going to incorporate Leinart, this right here is really and truly the biggest story of the week. A 6-4 Titan team significantly reduces the margin of error for Houston. 5-5 is a whoooooooooooole lot better. Go Falcons!
I'm not gonna lie....BEFORE Schaub went down, I was actually sort of rooting for the Titans to maintain a little respectability, and beat some opponents just because it would make our 41-7 drubbing of them look THAT much more impressive. But now, you're damn right I'm hoping they finish 5-11. The last thing Leinart and the Texans need now is for Tennessee to come and add heat into an already combustible situation. Also, if the Falcons win, it makes our Sunday match-up with them a better candidate for Sunday Night Football. No matter what Leinart looks like out there, I just think a Sunday night game in Reliant Stadium would be electric.
If the game decides the AFC South, there's no way it doesn't make it to SNF. Hopefully it doesn't come down to that, but if it does, lets give 'em hell.
i'm glad this game is in ATL. the Falcons are a head scratcher but at least they have home field advantage.
The Falcons have to be itching to get rid of that bitter taste out of their mouths the Saints loss left them. The line is +6 Titans. I don't think it's going to be that close.
I have absolutely not fear of the Titans. They are not even in the conversation. At worse .. . they get thrashed on the last game of the season Rocket River
I wasnt worried about the Titans, but now we dont know how Leinart is going to play, so it will help if Titans lose.
The Texans have a 1.5 game lead on the Titans. The Texans have likely a pretty big tie-breaker advantage over the Titans The Texans have a ridiculously soft schedule to finish the season The Texans shouldn't be worrying about the Titans. Because if they are even a "respectable" team with Leinart, they should win the division. And if they aren't, then they'll just be a joke in the playoffs anyway. The Texans need to win. Not have the Titans lose.
